Una escuela de negocios francesa, una china y un programa conjunto entre Estados Unidos y Hong Kong lideran el ranking de los mejores MBA Executive de 2021 publicado por Financial Times, en el primer año completo marcado por el teletrabajo y la educación a distancia que ha impuesto la pandemia con la mayor crisis económica registrada en tan corto período.
Una de las explicaciones del excepcional incremento de rentabilidad es que los programas de MBA Executive suelen atraer a gerentes y directivos con experiencia profesional que quieren compaginar sus estudios a tiempo parcial con el trabajo. Los tres programas que lideran la clasificación se ofrecen en varios campus de todo el mundo, lo que ha permitido a las escuelas proporcionar una amplia gama de experiencias y flexibilidad durante las restricciones de movilidad.
El ranking EMBA de Financial Times incluye los 100 programas más destacados de prestigiosas escuelas de negocios de todo el mundo, entre las que se encuentra la española IESE 7 puntos por delante del IE.
Para elaborar el ranking se analizan los datos procedentes de dos encuestas, una realizada a las escuelas de negocios y otra a los alumnos que se graduaron en el año 2018. Para formar parte del ranking, los programas MBA Executive deben estar acreditados por la Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business o la European Equis, y tener como mínimo 30 alumnos.
La clasificación se basa en cinco indicadores: el salario, el incremento de sueldo, el desarrollo de carrera, la experiencia laboral y los objetivos alcanzados.
Los primeros 10 puestos del ranking de los mejores MBA Executive de 2021 son para HEC de París (Francia/Qatar), Kelogg / HKUST Business School (Hong Kong), Ceibs (China/Suiza/Ghana), EMBA-Global Asia: Columbia/HKU/ LBS (Estados Unidos/ Hong Kong/ Reino Unido), Trium: HEC Paris / LSE / New York University: Stern (Francia/ Reino Unido/ EE.UU./China), ESCP Business School (Francia/ Alemania/ Italia/ Líbano/ España/ EE.UU.), IESE Business School (España/ EE.UU.), EMBA-Global: Columbia/LBS (EE.UU./Reino Unido), Arizona State University WP Carey (China) y Shanghai Jiao Tong University: Antai (China), la que ha logrado el citado incremento salarial del 110% para sus egresados.
